Our foundation is the World English Bible (WEB), a modern, public domain translation of the Holy Scriptures. The WEB is based on the 1901 American Standard Version (ASV) and has been carefully updated to reflect modern English usage while remaining faithful to the original Hebrew and Greek texts. Because it is in the public domain, the WEB can be shared freely—online and offline—without legal or licensing barriers.
